Uffie with the Ed Banger Crew by Freedom Record

Great news! Seems like Uffie is back giving everyone taste of her upcoming album, “Sex, Dreams & Denim Jeans”, with this leaked track ADD SUV featuring the one and only Pharrell Williams. ADD SUV is set to be one of the first singles from Uffie's full length Ed Banger album release. The track isn't as exciting as I hoped it to be but the beat is good and I felt amore for it as I listened a few more times. Give it a listen and download, below.

The National performing So Far Around the Bend for P4K

I just can't wait for the new album to drop this 11th of May. Whilst we avid fans wait, let's listen to a few of the new tracks off the album. Afraid of Everyone is crazy amazing and all this anticipation is driving me nuts!

This day marks the reissue release of Modest Mouse's landmark recording The Moon & Antarctica. This reissue also celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the album. I think its great that they are releasing the 12" remastered heavy double vinyl today, coinciding with Record Store Day, the annual celebration of independent record stores.

Recorded from July through November 1999, Modest Mouse's third album The Moon & Antarctica made it on many year-end Best Of lists in addition to ranking in the Top 10 on Pitchfork Media and Rhapsody's top of the decade lists.

Here's an mashup , not new, but clearly notable.

ROBYN: None of Dem (feat. Röyksopp)

Been away from this blog for way too long. Explanation following in later posts, but for now, let me share this treat to all Robyn and Röyksopp fans.

None of Dem, comes off from Robyn's highly anticipated first of the trilogy release called Body Talk, in this case, Part 1. Well you could understand her irritance smothered in her lyrics on the people in her "town".
