Describing herself as the "falsetto in the ghetto", UK-based Elly Jackson is the 20 year-old female front of La Roux. Elly's got a honeyed voice that could possibly be sandwiched in between Ladyhawke and CSS. La Roux's just released her first single, "Quicksand" on the French imprint Kitsune and the track is full of electro flavor. Something I can't wait to hear more of.
