I don't know why I read her books. I don't even belong the teen demographic and I do have to say that I have a good taste in all things.
My favorite movie is like, Pulp Fiction. NO KIDDING.
Okay, might be a s light slip by my unconscious. Haha.
People say there is just so much misogyny in her books, but I beg to disagree.
There might be a tinge of too much dependence of the female lead to her male counterpart, but misogyny is just too strong of a word for it.
Okay, before I go dawdling here, lemme serve you Twilight fans up a freebie!

Okay, I'm not gonna lie. I'm digging the song. Still.
The song is perfecto for the movie. Check it out:

M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" is enjoying yet another wave of success thanks to a new movie called "Pineapple Express."  The latest stoner flick was created by the "people who brought you Superbad" and the trailer features the Afrikan Boy and M.I.A. hit.
Here's a link to the Pineapple Express trailer featuring M.I.A's Paper Planes: (++)

BOOKS: The Virgin Suicides free Ebook

A Personal review on the book by Jeffrey Euginides and free ebook download

What a fabulous, page-turning, fascinating book! It's been two years since I saw the movie... , but from what I can remember, the movie doesn't do this book justice. Maybe it is the unique style of the narrative that made me love it so, or the sweet obsession of the narrators...I don't know what exactly, but The Virgin Suicides was simply wonderful despite the morbid subject.

The Virgin Suicides takes readers through a year in the life of the Lisbon sisters, their untimely demise, the speculations of the neighborhood, as well as the unraveling of the Lisbon family. A tender, lively story with the ending already known, but fascinating to see how it gets there. I was impressed over and over and highly recommend this profound, moving novel.

Email me at this address and I'll send the ebook to you. Good day!
