This November 17th marks the return of Malmo, Sweden's Fredrik with their new album Trilogi. This sophomore effort is has more in-depth take on themes like social realities and subconscious geography. The melodies are more serpentine and the textures decidedly darker. But Fredrik's warm, sensitive lead voice and operatic choir work still lends the material the same comforting elegance as on the debut.
Apparently all of us have seen/heard/read what was one of the highlights of this year's MTV VMA's. Now that Kanye has made a fool of himself, he also has made Taylor Swift, more popular than she already is. That's real smooth Kanye. Smooth.

COVERS (Ave Rating: 7.5 Stars out of 10) I'm a bit confused if Robyn really sang the original of this song. Anyway, it's a good track by Yelle. Same thing goes for the Lykke Li's cover of the KOL hit, remixed by Death to the Throne.
REMIXES (Ave Rating: 8.5 Stars out of 10) A lot of people can attest to my dislike for anything Taylor Swift. Imagine my shock when I realized this remix I kept on playing over and over was a remix of her You're Not Sorry track! Dudes, this track is pure sweetness (thanks to CSI), you gotta give it a listen. Do the same for the Major Lazer track and the Grizzly Bear remix.
