...then you must catch NPR's full stream of the album. Tomorrow is D'Day for the release of "The Suburbs" and I personally am hoping the album will do well. On the top 10 list are Indie favorites Grizzly Beat, The National and dominating the chart is Vampire Weekend. I was actually partial to Ingrid Michaelson's new album. After one of my friends introduced her music to me, it was inevitable that I'd like her music. Her absence in music scene was eminent with the arrival of fold-pop singers like Sara Bareilles and Meiko didn't help either.

Her Chain track (listen to it here) was pretty good, compared to her title track, Be Ok. Despite Be Ok's finger-snapping beat, the rest of her tracks are fit for kindergarteners ("I can do anything I want to/I can be anything that I see," on "Lady in Spain"). I wish her second album was a lot better than what it is now.
